| The state of Vermont is a beautiful land of green pastoral farms, tall trees, rolling hills, and winding waterways. A 270-mile long path known as The Long Trail snakes along the backbone of the Green Mountains, making for excellent hiking and overnight camping excursions along the way. For those into higher impact sports, Vermont’s many waterways and lakes are perfect for kayaking, canoeing, sailboarding, scuba diving, fishing, or leisurely tube rides. But nature isn’t the only splendid attraction in Vermont. It’s also a great place for concerts that attract popular performers to its intimate, small venues. Vermont ski lodges and nearby clubs are also great places to catch both established and up and coming musicians. On a different note, Revolutionary War buffs will also love Hubbarton Battlefield and Bennington Battle Monument.
